Derek Stone

PRESIDENT

Derek Stone has spent his career building and scaling businesses. After four entrepreneurial failures and a successful exit at 37, he acquired David Patton Homes to apply his operational philosophy to custom residential construction. Derek spent four years working directly under David Patton's mentorship, learning every dimension of the craft. His approach to construction is rooted in systems and discipline — the belief that a well-managed process produces a superior home.

Crystal Stone

DIRECTOR OF FINANCE

Crystal Stone serves as Director of Finance, overseeing financial structure, reporting transparency, and capital discipline across all projects. She holds two Bachelor of Science degrees in Political Science and English from Middle Tennessee State University. Since the company's formation in 2021, Crystal has led the development of cost tracking systems, documentation standards, and financial oversight protocols — ensuring every expenditure is documented and every client has clear visibility into the financial movement of their project.

David Patton

FOUNDER & CONSULTANT

David Patton has been building fine homes since 2002. From the smallest detail to the biggest parts of the project, David has always produced lifelong homes for his clients. His craftsmanship and dedication to quality continue to define the standard at David Patton Homes.

You come to us with your budget, vision, and inspiration. We integrate your goals with a custom designer, architect, or draftsman and build toward an agreed set of plans.

TRADITIONAL CONSTRUCTION

You arrive with completed architectural blueprints and interior details. We establish a budget and begin building.

Either path is supported by the same disciplined process — transparent costs, milestone execution, and direct oversight.
